Guttenberg Farms is a small family farm located in northwestern Wisconsin. They take great pride in humanely raising the finest rare Certified Organic Pastured Heritage/ Heirloom turkey breeds.

Guttenberg Farms raise their turkeys in a manner that closely matches the natural behavior and life cycle of wild turkeys. They grow at a slower rate than the traditional commercially raised turkey that is grown using antibiotics and pesticides to speed up production. It takes 28-30 weeks to raise organic heritage turkeys to market weight, compared to only 16 weeks for the white industrial birds that are commonly found. All turkeys that Guttenberg Farms grow for Siffoods bear the “official” USDA organic certification label. These turkeys are extremely rare since they are not only heirloom turkeys, but also USDA certified organic. The neck, heart, liver and gizzard are included.

	Perfect in every way!
	Wow, this turkey was amazing! I'm trying to be more aware of my meat's background, and this one fit the bill. I used the heritage turkey recipe on Local Harvest (cooked my 14 pounder at 425 for 2 hours) and it could not have been more perfect. It was full of flavor, juicy, and gorgeous. The fam says it's my job to do Thanksgiving from here on out! Thanks for making my day so great!

	My Early Thanksgiving
	I wanted to do an early Thanksgiving this year and I called Siffoods directly to see if it would be possible to have them deliver a Heritage Turkey to me. The representative I spoke to was extremely helpful and worked diligently with me to get the turkey delivered directly from the farm. I received my turkey on Friday as promised and I cooked it on Saturday. It was great! Thank you Siffoods, for making my early Thanksgiving happen.

	Delicious!!
	I bought this turkey last year and I got such great reviews for Thanksgiving that I decided to re-order again! This turkey didn't dry out like the regular store bought turkeys and the taste was out of this world! My best friend is doing Thanksgiving at her house for the first time this year and she got one of these turkeys because she knew that her mother-in-law wouldn't have any reason to complain about her cooking.
